[Guide] Episode Quest aka Hero Quest (2025)

This guide is for the long quest that begins on Junon Planet and ends (for now) on Eldeon Planet. You can complete this quest at any time, even after you are max level. The quest has many parts, and most of the parts have several stages. Info about each quest can be found in the spoiler below the name of the quest.

Four very important things to remember:
1- Some parts of this quest require more than one "quest slot" so be sure that you don't have more than 8 open quests when doing the Hero quest.

2- If you abandon any of the quests, try to remember which part you were on and talk to the NPCS involved and you should be able to get the quest back. If you can not get the quest back after doing this please submit a ticket here

3- Whenever you see a flashing bell on the left side of your game screen like this one, do NOT ignore it! Click on it right away, even if you aren't planning to work on the Hero quest at that time. Once ignored, it can take days to reappear and sometimes not even then, so save yourself much aggravation and click on it as soon as you see it.

4- If the bell does not show up when it is supposed to while you are doing the quest, close the game completely (not select character) and log back in, it should pop up. You may need to give it a few minutes after closing the game before logging back in.

MESSAGE FROM ARUA'S FAIRY
You will receive your first bell message at level 15. Travel to Zant and talk to [Junon Order Co Founder] Francis. You will find him on the upper level of Zant.

LOST CHILDREN

Lost Children (1)
Francis tells you to talk to one of the three NPC's that is missing a child. Talk to the NPC that will give you the reward that you want.

[Designer] Keenu -Keenu’s Ring- Intelligence +10

LOST CHILDREN (2)
The NPC's will all have a slightly different sad story, but the bottom line is that they will all send you to talk to [Livestock Farmer] Lampa. He is in the farm outside of Zant.

Lampa tells you a frightening story about a man in a red robe carrying something about the size of a child. This example is for Cornell's grandson, Cheney. Your quest log will show the info for whichever NPC's child you are trying to find.

Here are the locations of all three missing children. The child you are trying to save will have a ? above them.

The child you are talking to suddenly turns into a monster! You have no choice but to defeat them.

[Arumic Merchant] Tryteh needs you to gather some ingredients. The Mini Honeybees are right inside the town of Zant, Honeybees and Woopies are outside of Zant. Note: Only regular Woopies will count. Return to Tryteh when you have all of the materials.

Tryteh wasn't able to save the child but will keep the crystal and continue to try. Go back to the NPC whose child you are trying to save.

[Cleric] Karitte can be found in the Valley of Luxem Tower map, at the top of the tower.

Karitte needs some materials. The Elder Pumpkins can be found at the base of the Tower. Return to Karitte when you have the seeds.

The next part is timed. You have

30 minutes

to go back to Adv Plains and sprinkle the Soil of Purification around the mushrooms in the back of Ronk's hut. Then talk to Myad about the antidote.

Basically go to the same area as you did in Dreadful Epidemic and you will receive a message from Super Mini Bruce. Myad will tell you to give the antidote to Ronk and Pony and both of them are across from him in Adv Plains

Karitte thinks Pomics might be involved so head across the bridge in Luxem and kill at least 10 of them

and start killing regular Pomics. When an infected one appears (after killing a regular one) kill that one too

Go to the pier on the beach behind Mairard and follow it to the ship that's docked there. [Ferrell Guild Staff] Peron will give you a free ride to Junon Polis. NOTE: You must be at least level 30 to take the ship.

This is where you will be when you arrive in Junon Polis. [Ferrell Guild Staff] Itz will take you back to Adv. Plains after you make the delivery.

To find [Junon Order] Gorthein, head to the left as you leave the dock area. Past the Flying Ship, cross the bridge still heading to the left. You will see the Junon Order NPC's

Return to Itz for a free ride back to Adv Plains and talk to Mairard.

JUNON'S HOLY STAFF

Exit Zant from the middle and the Breezy Hills entrance will be directly in front of you.

Once you are in Breezy Hills, head to the bridge. When you get to the cross-bridge, turn to the right. You can see the town up on the hill.

Pomic Fighters are in Breezy Hills. Beetles are in El Verloon around the water.

Pomic Fighter

To get to El Verloon Desert safely, head back across the bridges the same way you first crossed them to get to the town. From this point, go straight across that bridge in the distance and keep going straight

Once you are in El Verloon Desert, the Beetles are to the left, on the far side of the map, but getting there can be both confusing and dangerous, depending on your level. So here is a shortcut way to get to the right area.

If you look to your right, you can see part of the big pyramid called Oblivion Temple.

Make your way over to that pyramid, then go around to the back of it. You will see a circular brick area and to the side, past the waterfall, there is a bridge.

Cross that bridge and then you can jump down from the cliff at any point. The lower level Beetles are around the shoreline. To return to Francis once you have the items from the Pomics and Beetles, you can retrace your steps or use a Zant Return Scroll.

THE HOLY SCISSORS AND THE THREAD OF DESTINY

You can find Honey Rackies in the area before the pyramid.

The Queen Honey Bee Workers are almost at the opposite side of the map. You can take the shortcut described in Junon's Holy Staff spoiler. When you jump off the cliff, follow the shoreline until you are close to the stone spawn area.

No matter how hard you try, you can't seem to get that 5th Crown Gem so return to Francis in Zant.

[Ferrell Guild Merchant] Linais located in the little town in El Verloon Desert. When you enter El Verloon from Breezy Hills, go up the lower mountain path.

In typical fashion, [Gypsy Merchant] Methio would not give you the Crown Gem for free, but now that you have it finally, return to Francis in Zant.

Head to the Trainer Village in Adventurer's Plains. That's the place where you were given your first job.

Go all the way to the back of the village, then turn left and follow this little, hidden path.

Talk to Melendinoand then defeat her.

Bell message time once again. This one is really important because it gives you the location where you will meet the Goddess Arua.

Go up the hill behind him (the place where the Flannae are) and then turn right and walk to the tree near the waterfall.

Stand in the beam of light next to the tree to talk to the Goddess.
